Range Experience Acquisition Portal For Evaluation & Reporting (REAPER)
Riptide created a proof of principle system under a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) to data mine live training range usage and results. Riptide launched the proof of principle effort at the U.S. Army's live training range Oscar 9 located on Ft. Benning, GA utilizing the Experience API (xAPI) and a local Learning Record Store (LRS), with delivery of the data to a cloud-based LRS and the Digital Training Management System (DTMS). REAPER not only captures data from live fire exercises, it also provides the trainees with relevant and timely feedback on their results and access to corrective or remedial training materials delivered on-demand. In addition, REAPER provides a detailed training record and data mining ability to the U.S. Army Live Training community.
